Prohibited and Restricted iTems on International Air Shipment


When shipping parckages from China to other countries in the world, there is a series of prohibited and restricted items that are strictly prohibited or restricted by international shipping companies. These items are prohibited or restricted either by international airlines or customs. Parcel restricted & prohibited items may be vary depending on your carriers, so you are always recommended to check the restrictions of your chosen carrier on their official website, and also you should check with customs at the destination country of your parcel delivery, since each country has different policies as to what will be accepted into the country. However, I will give a list of items prohibited and restricted on international mailing from China for your tough guide here:

Prohibited Items:
Prohibited mailing items must not be carried on any international couriers or air mail services under any circumstance. If some of these items being sent may result prosecution, heavy fines and imprisonment.

Restricted Items:
Restricted Items are deemed unsuitable for shipment by international shipping companies, and are therefore restricted. Despatch of these items may result in surcharges, delays or confiscation by authorities. And they can only be carried on a no compensation basis and while at the senders’ own risk.

Special Provisions:
Battery and products containing batteries are prohibited by international airlines, if you need to delivery those goods via international couriers or air mail services, MSDS is required for the package. For well-known brand item, official invoice is required.
